About Hmong Healing Center
There are variations in Hmoob (Hmong) shamanic healing. The black veil is thought to be one of the older version, then the red and now the more current one with the white veil. Each type may have its own unique and preferred shamanic garments, but all shared the same type of shamanic altar honoring the Hmoob shamanic healing founder SivYis (Shee-Yee) and his shamanic tools.
Hmoob shamanic healing can also be in the form of energy healing as well.
Traditional Hmoob herbalist also erect a smaller version of the altar to host the herbal spiritual deities, just like the shamanic altar.
This mural is done by a family member of Phanida Vaj, also an emerging shaman.
